This was a fabulous restaurant. We wouldn't have found except we were looking for it. It is kind of out of the way. I tried some food that I had never tried before. It was great

This place was amazing. We didn't intend to end up here but were so happy we did. The dishes were aithentic and flavorful - I loved my schnitzel and my wife loved her stroganoff. The sauerkraut made me nostalgic for childhood in Baltimore where kraut was a staple side dish. The dunkelweiiss on draft was wonderful. And my wife really enjoyed the mulled wine she had with dinner. Matt our server was excellent talking through the menu and making sure everything was taken care of . We will definitely be back next time we are in Hot Springs.

Lynette and I stopped here while on a road trip. It's just a little bit off the main drag, so we didn't have to put up with all the mobs of tourists. It's very close to the convention center. The atmosphere is incredible. Legit beirgarten. It's located downstairs in a basement with some outdoor patio dining as well. It was Saturday night, and they had some live music. Nothing intrusive, just nice background music. Lynette had the bratwurst plate, and I had the Jager schnitzel. Both were very good. But the Black Forest cake was awesome. The service was very friendly. If you happen to be in the Hot Springs, AR area, you definitely ought to consider stopping off here.

One of my top restaurant choices for when I visit Hot Springs. I have enjoyed every item that I have tried on the menu. I really look forward to returning to this restaurant since our most recent trip to central Europe because as I look back on the menu; there are many more items that I want to try. There is a great beer selection and you have to get the homemade apple strudel. It is delish! The atmosphere reminded me of our visit to Europe as there were many places that had grotto atmospheres. Our server was very sweet and efficient. We will definitely return!

The food here is good. But unfortunately it takes a long time to come out. So you'd think it would be hot. But the potato pancakes and the stew were very cold. It's a cool German vibe and you need reservations for the tables. But Jake at the bar redeems this place. We will be back if only for Jake! Best bartender ever!
